We also offer a service to legal firms who are based overseas and may have probate matters that they wish to refer and for solicitors in Estates where they may be acting as Executors and conflicts of interest arises.

The areas of Trusts, Probate and Administration, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Wardship & Wills are particularly relevant for older or vulnerable adults. Other matters which may arise are issues in relation to capacity, ownership of joint accounts, undue influence or duress and financial or other abuse. As old age or limited capacity may give rise to a vulnerability, it makes it all the more important that the person receive understandable and independent legal advice.

At Wallace Reidy our experienced solicitors are skilled in matters of capacity and can appropriately provide the specialist advice required in an empathic manner.

The firm’s two partners, Gerard Reidy and Anne Marie Cullen * handle all of our private client work in this area. Anne Marie Cullen is also authorised to use the designation T.E.P meaning she is a “Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner” both in the Irish Jurisdiction and International Jurisdiction.
